![]() ![]() It would also be really cool, if super aggressive small native villages, just could pop up in the wilderness areas, making it harder to keep all colonies. They could put in China, Japan, Indochina, Southeast Asia, and Oceania, making an own theater. Same with South America, except that southwestern parts also are wilderness. Hope they make an Empire 2 (but of course an Rome 2 before), where this includes, and that the most of the African coast line is regions, but the central parts are wilderness. (God, I got so many ideas!) Alaska and Chukotka should be two regions, so you could have an 19th century cold war This would make it possible to take another way the colonies, and countries like Russia wouldn't have such a big disadvantage when it comes to colonization. Which both would consist mostly of wilderness, but maybe also two to three regions, full with valuable natural resources It would also be really cool if the rest of Canada would be like this, with an land link over Berings strait. ![]() That way you can march from Moscow, through the giant Siberian Wilderness and then come to Russian Far East. I think it would be cool, if the eastern parts of Russia would be a Wilderness, like in north America. Let's have Siberia and the Steppe on theh map!! Regarding Russia in ETW, perhaps the thought of conquering large tracts of nothing is attractive!! The fact remains that one of Russia's best defences to invasion was it's endless tundra, not to mention one of its richest reserves of minerals and timber. Would the next logical step for the games creators be 'The Age of Imperialism'? This would run from 1813 to 1913 perhaps, and take in the period from the last few years of Napoleon's Europe to just before the First World War, and include the opening up of the Far East with Japan and China, the push into the America's western territories, the colossal expansion of Russia and the British Empire, and of course the Discovery of the African interior.not to mention lots and lots of Gun Boats. I agree with these points and I hope the games creators will be looking at expanding the map to a more global inclusive one for any future game releases.
